Bio
I, Kirihara Akaya, belong to [info]starianprincess.
And this journal was made for the community [info]tenipuriu.

As Kirihara Akaya sat atop his bed, staring at his ceiling, he realized that there were a number of things he was quite unsure about. He wasn't sure if he liked the small apartment he was living in at present, a few blocks from the university. He wasn't sure if he should finally get a pet as his older sister had suggested--"to make it feel more like home," she'd laughed over the phone. He wasn't sure if he was really interested in his major, having applied with it on a whim. He wasn't sure if he should call his parents; they'd had a falling out a few months back due to an insensitive comment his father let slip, which had in turn brought about his demon-eyed alter ego. He also wasn't sure if he approved of the man his beloved onee-san was going to marry in about a year. If she went off into her sappy little rabu-rabu land with Prince Charming, he frowned, where would that leave him?

Throwing his pillow against the wall, he huffed. It wasn't like he was still a child trailing after the one person who would always champion him. But with her gone, he knew it would be different. And if there was one thing the brunette did not like very much, it was change. It was how he'd graduated from high school and got separated from his friends. It was how he'd first felt disappointment when he realized that he wasn't the strongest in Rikkaidai. He knew he needed it, was supposed to thrive on it. But the damn thing was always messing with him. Perhaps that was why he'd formed his Demon Mode, to escape into a place where things would stay the same; still, in no rush, waiting. For him.

There were countless things Kirihara Akaya was unsure about. But there was also one great thing that would always back him up: tennis. This was why he'd told his parents, with the Rikkai pride shining in his eyes, that he was going to be a professional tennis player someday. And he hadn't even flinched when his father laughed, thinking it was a joke. Yes, with tennis, things wouldn't spiral out of control. It was ironic; Akaya knew one could not predict a match perfectly, however, a match was one small aspect of a world he could call his own. And that was what mattered most.
